Hi All,

Those of ye who are wondering about Lacostian, I do not think he is dead
and destroyed beyond repair. I believe he has retreated into the
Akashiac Memory, giving up what we mortals call his ego and psyche to
save us. It's still what we mortals would call "death", but for an Elder
God nothing is impossible.

I have spoken to Marina Whytetower, the Oracle of Mysteries. I was
summoned to the Temple of Lacostian. Yes, the temple still exists but it
is guarded by the Oracle's spirit. The oracle will be joining Lacostian
beyond the pale in the Akashiac Memory, so I doubt we will ever see her
again. Icelus lives! Do not give up hope, all ye who keep Lacostian's
memory and spirit alive.

Now, as for the sacrifice, keep collecting Grodaks into the Spire! The
Spire speaks High Divine, of which hints can be found in the Nodes of
the Akashiac memory that have been falling to our li'l Basin. Yes, this
is also why I believe Lacostian still exists in some spirit form--this
is his way of communing with us. The memory nodes contain hints that
will help translate the Divine speech, the Grodaks will create crystals
that can be refined at the Facility in Aetherspace, and once completed,
Xion will be open to us and we can find Elcyrion.

Vesar and Shorlen have made the most progress with this quest. Do what
ye can to help.

If we survive this crisis, remind me to buy ye all a nice brew or a
meal...no Absythe though, I have a headache from my last sips of that.

And to add--I'm not sure where the other Elder Gods are right now--I
assume whatever's affecting reality is keeping them from us. Otherwise
I'm sure Estarra would step in. Let's just hope things don't totally
collapse...
